Midwest Cooling Tower Services (“Midwest”) has acquired certain assets of Cooling Tower Resources, Inc. (“CTR”), a cooling tower parts distributor and fabricator with customers around the world. CTR has a history of providing quality fiberglass and wood parts to a range of industrial customers from cooling tower OEMs to service providers. The deal includes the acquisition of real estate owned by a related party located in Baytown, TX. This location is strategic in that it will allow for Midwest to better service its current and future customer base. To lead its new Cooling Tower Resources division, Midwest has hired industry veteran Shane Schmidt.
